Challenge Asphalt Commercial Asphalt Maintenance
Commercial asphalt is an investment in your property and business. Beyond this, a well-maintained lot or roadway can increase your customers’ overall experience and safety. As with any large installation, regular maintenance is key to long-term functionality. Challenge Asphalt’s commercial asphalt maintenance services range from crack and pothole repair to more significant damage solutions with the ultimate goal of extending the life of your investment and providing cost-effective solutions.
Benefits of Maintaining Your Commercial Asphalt
+ Short and long-term cost efficiency by extending asphalt lifespan
+ Prevention of issues, such as water infiltration, that cause potholes and sinkholes
+ Routed cracks stay sealed three to four times longer than cracks that aren’t routed
+ Increased property value and appeal
+ Ability to add APA-compliant upgrades
Importance of Maintaining Your Lot
Simply put, proper maintenance extends the life of your parking lot or roadway. The heavy traffic a lot or roadway endures can cause cracks and other damage over time which go beyond cosmetic issues and can become a liability for your business. When done correctly, maintenance allows a well-paved lot or roadway to last upwards of 20 years.
We always recommend to customers that, within this time, at least one complete resurfacing or overlay may be necessary.
What to expect
When you choose Challenge Asphalt for your commercial asphalt maintenance, you get our best-in-class equipment, decades of experience, and commitment to your vision and budget. A typical maintenance job involves seal coating with GuardTop seal coat, which we broom on for a thicker wearing service within the first year of installation. We recommend that customers reseal about every four years for longevity.
For older lots that aren’t ready for a complete resurfacing, we can restore minor cracks and potholes by cleaning them out and hot patching them prior to GuardTop application and parking lot striping.
Our crew works with your team to provide ADA-compliant upgrades to your lot or roadway, such as handicapped signage, painted wheel stops, rubberized wheel stops, and ramps and handrails.
